Those bits SUCK for anything but REALLY small and really loosely tightened fasteners. They have terrible engagement compared to an actual proper driver bit.

I was out this weekend, and had the need for a tool, and remembered this video. How about a silcock key for turning on water when the handles or knobs are removed. The pliers themselves, didn't close tight enough for them to be used. Maybe even adjust the pliers so they can do the job??? I'm not sure if they're still reading the comments or not, but I thought I'd throw this idea for a tool out there since I haven't seen any tool have this.

Don’t use my Leatherman wave or rebar every day. But I do keep one in each vehicle and I gave not bought a new wave since 2006. That makes mine 18 years old and I’d rather have it than some Chiba junk that’s going to give up the ghost the first time I truly need it. Of course I still have the same Glocks from the late 90’s and the same 1911’s from the 70’s and the same snap-on tools from the 70’s as well. There is a pattern here I’m sure.

The "best" multi-tool is whatever model I love at the moment. Only my opinion matters and everyone else is wrong.

love the squirt on a keychane, cant stand leatherman. update your waranty policy if it doesnt work for the tool, dont takle it off the market. its like 150$ to buy in germany now

Cheap Coast lights don't come w/ rechargeable lithium batts so not great value. But $35-80 ones do, while not tactical throwers, they are durable and have flood and throw. Good value auto or rescue lights

i’m only scared of the handle

Just got mine today. Two issues with it. Holding down the rear switch does not put it in moonlight mode. It just turn on and cycles through the spotlight brightness levels as if you did one click and then held down. The second issue is a nit-pick. In the water droplet mode it tends to show about 4 droplets of the same color before fading into the next color. However, when it fades to red it shows only one droplet before moving onto the next color. Some screwed up the programming on that.

Feels like complexity for the sake of it.

Found a pretty killer deal ($185) on a "used" but like new in box pm2 magnacut salt online and just got it in the mail. The centering is perfect and wow...this thing has the best action of any knife I have ever owned...so smooth. Told myself I didn't need anymore knives since I have bought a decent amount of fixed blades lately...but I sold all my folders a while back and was missing having a couple different options. Figured the crucarta pm2 needed a new friend to split pocket time with when I'm not carrying a little fixie. Couldn't be happier with my recent purchase...this thing is amazing. I said no more knives soon but your video has me contemplating a serrated salt series in h2....

Doing a clever might be problem

I bought the old Sofirn modell on AliExpress. The light mode menu is to complicated for me to remember which button press does what. So i end up allways get the wrong light mode everytime. Not good.They should remove the color change modi completly or just add the red color as a option. A option could be the complex light mode menu printed or laser engraved on the case side.

No tail stand is a deal killer on any flashlight. Caution: don't use two 14500 batteries in the small light! Two AA's are fine. Compare with Convoy for budget options and Emisar for more power at similar cost.

Your whole entire argument is based on the t shank trick. However, it defeats the purpose of "all in one." I mean if I'ma carry something either way, I'd get one of them saw oriented pocket knives as an addition; which takes about the same space. But otherwise, I'd either get ranger, huntsman or mountaineer for the saw thang. Otherwise thanks for the video.

Normally I agree with you on a lot of your reviews, but this one was a miss for me. I ordered one of these based on this video and frankly I am disappointed with what I received. Not your fault of course, but there may be a QC issue on these and wanted to post what I am seeing with mine. The action is pretty rough to be honest. For whatever reason I can fail the opening and closing of this button lock about 1/3 of the time. When I say fail, I mean that it does not fully open or fully close when I am using the button lock itself to deploy or retract the blade. I feel like the button is riding the blade more than it should even when fully depressed. I would be willing to blame myself, but I have other button locks from CJRB as well as other brands that don't have this issue. I can deploy with the thumb studs 100% of the time, no issues. Overall it's is a nice fit with my other smaller lightweight knives (Hogue Deka and my Frankenstein SRM 9201), if it weren't for the action issue I would be happier. I am going to send it back to CJRB to see if they can clean it up some.

The play in that millwaukee is 3-4x too much. But its so you can butt the tape up to something and have the same measure as when you hook the tape on something and stretch it out.

Tractor supply company sells 300lumen lights at the register fir $3. And they dont have a wierd UI.

Where is it made ? I’m thinking I’ll stick with leatherman. Had mine long enough that the leather sheath is all scuffed up from daily carry and use. I just brush the tool and oil with Lucas extreme gun oil about once every couple months and she keeps working year after year.

Been using this a bit and so far it's incredibly good value. One complaint I could see some people having, is the bit driver is magnet only, it doesn't have a detent like the Leatherman bits use to hold in place. Otherwise, it's really comparable. Depending on their heat treat for their 5cr, it's gonna be pretty similar to Leatherman's 420HC. If this had come out 10 years ago, I'd definitely argue going for the Leatherman, but the last few years their QC has gone to crap. I have no doubt this will serve me well for years if not decades to come. If you buy this tool, a 1/4" bit adapter, 1/4" bits, $9 Amazon 1/4" socket set, and a $15 flashlight, you have an entire toolbox at your disposable for less than the cost of a Wave, at less than 2lbs all together.

Best part is the tir lenses are the exact same size convoy uses. I swap them all the time. I have the pro version which has the buck driver and an SFT40 5000k emitter

I have one of these. Had it over 15yrs. But here in the UK it was called the Gerber Legend? At least thats what it was labelled as when i purchased it.

Man i have had the daicamping and I have used it around the house on a multitude of tasks, out in the yard, fixing things here and there and up to now, not a single problem. The blade cut great the screw sriver is amazing, i have sooo many bits that use with it that i dont have with the surge. Honestly i have not used the surge in a long time. I have given these as presents to friends and so far they love it. So this is a serious contender especially for folks that need a pretty decent multi tool but do not have the money to spend on a surge

I'm in the wealth bracket that hasn't even seen the store page of a knife that has a fat carbon option 😂

The Outrider is also a 4 layer and has a locking blade. I love the Huntsman, but the Outrider just 'checks all the boxes' for me. Whatever you choose, use it in good health my friends!

The only reason I prefer the Milwaukee over Klein utility knife, is the Klein does not have a built in flathead. Only phillips.

22:42 here are a few of my thoughts on these 1) my kitchen scissors split apart like that B) they are little bit like fat versions of the skeleton knife you showed earlier in the video. and III) kinda remind of a dive knife but curved or maybe like a throwing knife from a movie? im pretty sure an ideal throwing knife you'd probably want a bit longer but you can probably make it work.
